Task Ledger is a personal task management app designed to respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
Task Ledger does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app has no analytics, advertising SDKs, crash-reporting services, or third-party trackers of any kind.
Task Ledger stores the tasks you create locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This includes:
This data lives in a local database on your device. Task Ledger has no access to it and cannot retrieve it remotely.
If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled, the app uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync your tasks across your devices through your private iCloud database. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account under your Apple ID. The developer has no access to it.

You can disable iCloud sync at any time in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud.
The app lets you export your tasks to JSON or CSV files. These files are generated on your device and shared only via the standard iOS share sheet (Files, Mail, AirDrop, etc.) when you explicitly initiate a share. Exported files are not sent anywhere by the app itself.
To time the standard "Rate this app" prompt, the app stores your total time spent in the app locally on your device using UserDefaults. This value never leaves your device.
Task Ledger is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
All task data remains on your device (and in your iCloud account, if synced) until you delete it. You can delete all data at any time using the "Delete all data" option in the Backup screen, or by deleting the app from your device. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data permanently.
If this policy materially changes, the updated version will be made available at the same URL where you found this one. Continued use of the app after an update is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
